Knitted Knockers: A Take Action Tuesday Intiative

Students:

Knitted Knockers is a TAT that focuses on teaching its participants how to knit or crochet with the purpose of making knockers (breast prostheses). These knockers will then be distributed for free to women in Dar and other parts of Tanzania through cancer clinics and hospitals. It based on the work of an organisation with the same name.

To carry this work forward, the TAT is looking for high school students who can take the rolls of secretary, treasurer and marketing officer. It is a great opportunity for CAS experience and project if you are going to be in IB next year.

Note: You will be required to knit and/or crochet and you will be taught how to do so.

If you are interested please follow this link for more information. Students should be logged in to their IST email account to reach the form.
