Get Involved in the Network for Exceptional Children

Does your child learn differently? You are not alone! Today, 1 in 5 children are neurologically atypical. But more often than not, children with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, giftedness, anxiety, sensory processing disorder, and other neuro-differences encounter many challenges as they move through our world. As parents and educators, we can best support the exceptional children in our lives by truly understanding their unique way of being and effectively accommodating their needs.

Please join us to discuss the possibility of forming a network of parents, educators and other professionals living in Dar that aims to empower neurodiverse children so that they might thrive in our community. Attend ONE of the planning meetings on Tuesday, 9 October at 6:30 pm (IST secondary campus) or Wednesday, 10 October at 7:45 am (off-campus location TDB). Confirm your interest and/or attendance here.

Feel free to contact Jennifer Peterson if you have questions or would like additional information.
