From the Principal's Desk
Today is a milestone for grade 12 students as they attend Secondary School for the last time. This morning many of them met at Coco Beach to watch the sunrise, they then had breakfast as a group, passed the torch to grade 11s and the finally had a leaving ceremony. This is an opportunity to acknowledge the legacy of the class and to celebrate individual accomplishments. While today was their official final day of school, they will be busy during the month of May taking IB Diploma Exams. They will all earn an IST Diploma and the overwhelming majority will also earn the IB Diploma. The final celebration will take place on May 25 at the Graduation Ceremony.
On the next Weekly Bulletin, we will share the exam schedule for students in grades 9 - 11 and we will be sharing information on what the end of the year looks like for all students. There is still much learning to be done as we inch closer into the final days of the 2018 - 19 school year.
I wish everyone a pleasant break and safe travels if you plan on taking a trip.
