From the Principal's Desk
On Thursday and Friday of this week, all the Grade 5 students presented the work they have been doing in recent weeks as part of their Final Exhibition. This has been a process-based project where all students selected their own inquiry to research. The learning, knowledge, and understanding gained through this process has been substantial and was very evident in their presentations. Well done Grade 5s (and teachers/mentors/parents for guidance and support)!

We continue to have students becoming ill with Dengue Fever. We suggest applying repellent prior to school. The campus was fumigated two weeks ago and will be done again on Thursday evening of next week. Best wishes to those students who are currently ill and we look forward to seeing them back in school very soon.
Important: EC-Gr. 2 End of Day Pick Up Procedures: Reminder
Students in EC to Grade 2 are handed over to parent/driver from the classroom at the end of the day. Children are only released to the parent or the named individual (eg. driver) provided by the parent. If a different individual is collecting your child please ensure to inform the homeroom teacher. If your child is in an ASA this name will be passed on to the teacher/ coach in charge of the ASA. Endangered Species Day
Every day between 1 to 20 animal or plant species become extinct around the world. In a matter of time, all species could become extinct. We realise not many people are aware of this so we thought we could spread the word around our IST community. On Friday 17th of May all around the world, people are celebrating 'Endangered Species Day.' We thought we can celebrate it here. On this day kids can dress up as an endangered animal. Not all animals are endangered so here's a list of some endangered animals you can dress up as. Looking forward to seeing creative costumes on the 17th of May.
