From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,

Thank you to all parents who helped to make International Day such a great occasion. The amount of effort and time has been phenomenal and the positive memories for everyone will be long lasting I'm sure. The ES Choir performed wonderfully at the assembly and well done to Aahliyafatema in Grade 5 for being a confident and clear MC. The stalls were amazing and the children not only enjoyed this part of the day but learned a great deal from 'visiting' all the different countries. Thanks to Yolande De Plesis, Anise Jivani and Doris Wilkie for helming the EPN work and also to Sumarie van Schalkwyk for organising the Excellent 2018 Passport.

Next Week

Principal's Coffee next Tuesday: 7.15am ASAs at IST

Megan Hardeman and myself will be presenting about our ASA programme. We'd like to put forward an overview of the purpose and aims of ASAs. We look forward to parents attending this workshop.

School Photos

All Elementary classes will have their school photographs taken next week. Your home room teacher should have sent a message in their weekly email to state the photo day for the class. Please make sure your child is wearing school uniform (not PE uniform) on that day.

There is also an opportunity for siblings to have photographs taken together. If you would like to take advantage of this, please go to Tembo quad on Tuesday 6th November between 1:45pm and 4pm.

Please join us for next week's whole ES Assembly which will be led by Student Action Council and Roots and Shoots. There will also be a Hoola Hoop and Juggling Display at the beginning of the assembly- 7.20am in the MPH
