From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,

On Monday we held Listening Conferences in Elementary School. The teachers thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and hearing about your hopes for your child this year. As we aim to meet the needs of each child it is great to get a picture of each child from the parent perspective.

Next Wednesday August 29 it is our turn to tell you what we have in store this year for each grade. The event will start off in the MPH with an overview provided by Dr. Hardeman and myself for the coming year. Parents will then be invited to Homeroom Grades to hear from the teachers. If you have more than one child there will be a second presentation for you to attend. There will also be the chance to meet specialist teachers.

The next formal Parent Teacher Consultation takes place on Friday October 12 just before the mid term break. However, please don't wait until then if you have queries or concerns. Please make an appointment to meet you child's teacher after school. Additionally if you have any general questions about the school Maggie Hewitt (Vice Principal) and myself would be very happy to meet you.

Most Tuesdays we hold Parent Workshops. This week Ms Lynn and Ms Carole (our school counsellors) held a 'Thriving Through' Transition workshop
