From the Principal's Desk
We've had a very successful Book Swap this week with hundreds of books in for swapping. Thanks to Mr. Kirk, the library staff and a committed group of parents who helped out with this initiative.
This morning there were 13 presentations in the ASA assembly. They ranged from Karate to Animation and School Choir to IST TV! It was a great event. Thanks go to Megan Hardeman for all her excellent work with the ASA programme this term and for putting together the impressive programme this morning.
Last Saturday many boys and girls from Grade 4 and 5 participated in the Basketball tournament. It was a long and exciting day with both our boys and girls teams winning their respective tournament trophies. Well done to all who took part on Saturday and throughout the whole season. Thanks to Jarred Bouley, Megan and Mark Hardeman for all the time they've give up to coach the children.
On Tuesday we held a Parent Workshop which focused on school reports and conferences. If you were keen to attend but could not, you may be interested in listening to our first parent workshop podcast see link below. This special event in the school year takes place on Saturday April 21.
EPN/SPN Quiz Night Re-arranged
The Quiz Night has been re-arranged for Saturday May 26 at 6pm in the ES MPH. EPN will send reminders nearer the time but please do put it in the diary. We're hoping for a great social event, with lots of people near the end of the school year.
