From the Principal's Desk
This morning Grades 2 and 3 performed a variety of instrumental and vocal pieces in their music concert. It was an excellent presentation which highlighted the musical skills learned during class. It was fantastic to see both grades showcase their recorder, ukulele, and xylophone skills. The theme of 'Music is Playful' included a combination of songs, games and instrumental playing which the students enjoyed performing. In addition to musical skills students also demonstrated cooperation, rhythm and rhyme, coordination and confidence. The Final song Magic Travel Machine incorporated all Grade 2 and 3 students singing together and was a wonderful ending to an exciting musical experience both for the students and the audience. A big thank you to the music department (Miss Sara, Ms Hilary and Mr Jeremiah) and teachers and TA's of Grade 2 and 3.
