From the Director of Teaching and Learning: MAP Results

Dear Parents,

The first administration of the MAP testing is almost complete. The MAP results will provide information to help determine your child's instructional level and measure academic growth throughout the school year, and from year to year in the areas of Language Usage, Reading, and Mathematics.

Friday, 21 September is a professional development day where IST teachers will be analyzing the MAP results for their grade and individual students. The purpose of the day is for teachers to understand how to use this data to improve student learning and support continuous improvement.

On Thursday, 4 October at 8:00 am I will be hosting a parent coffee at the secondary campus to help parents understand their child's test results and give information about MAP. Parents will receive their child's MAP results. For parents who can't attend the coffee, results will be sent home after the October break with a reference guide about information on the report.

Should you have questions please contact me via email
