From the Principal's Desk
Congratulations to all IST students who performed at Arts Out Loud last Saturday. The rain didn't deter from a wonderful day of both performing and visual art and the whole day was a great collaboration of students and staff across both campuses.
New Tree Life in Kinder Quad
Following the collapse of the Fig Tree in the Kinder Quad in April a new tree was planted on Thursday. A Baobab tree which was planted 4 years ago as part of a Grade 5 Exhibition project was carefully transplanted from behind the library to the new location:
Today many ES classes took part in the Outdoor Classroom Day which is a special day observed by many schools around the globe. The pictures below give some insight into what occurred. Notice the wooden pieces are from the tree that once was a hallmark of the EC/KG Quad.
Also today the Grade 12 students has their Graduation rehearsal in the MPH. At the end of their practice they paraded through the ES campus and presented each grade 5 student with a special message to wish them luck on their transition to Secondary School.
