Please join us for Dr. Hardeman's Director Coffee on February 27th @ 8 am. This is a great chance for parents from Secondary and Elementary school to get together and talk about information related to our school community. At the coffee next week, Dr. Hardeman will an update on 2018-19 faculty staffing, present an overview of this year's ISA results, and review the recent climate survey. This week, Tony convey his utmost thanks to the students and the whole organizing team for a wonderful performance of Seussical. Mother Tongue Week
IST Celebrates Mother Tongue Week from Friday, February 23rd to March 2nd. The week will be full of events that will mark the celebration of the Mother Tongue week including Mother Tongue Stories during library times, as well as morning and lunch playtime. Follow link below to read more.

Elementary Math Evening: 'Math for the 21st Century' Wednesday, February 21st will be your last opportunity to hear our visiting consultant, Ellen Alquist, speak about how math instruction is changing to prepare students for the 21st century. From the Secondary Principal's Desk
Blair this week talks about the summary of activities during the past week including the grade 12 mock exams, and grade 11 ESP trips. He also give thanks to all those who participated in the making the ESP trips a success. He further gives highlights for the next upcoming events including the February 28 SPN Meeting and March 5 Theory of Knowledge (ToK) Experience for Parents. Parent session: MYP Math for the 21st Century;If you were not able to attend this session in October by Ellen Alquist, an internationally recognized expert in inquiry learning, you have a second chance as Ellen visits us again in February! Please join us from 6:00-7:00 pm on Thursday 22 February in the D-block learning commons at Secondary for a parent session on MYP Math for the 21st Century: using inquiry and conceptually-based teaching.

At IST Secondary, we want students to develop the skills of time management, planning and organising. The school shares a Daily Bulletin with students to help them keep track of important upcoming events and deadlines.
