Elementary Library: Mother Tongue Read-In
In celebration of our amazing diversity and International Day at IST, we are organizing our 2nd Read-In of the year. The Read-In will take place on Thursday, November 2, from 7:20-8:00 in the area behind the EC and KG classrooms. Students will be encouraged to read with others in their mother tongues. This may involve older students reading to younger students, but parents are also invited to join us that morning to share in mother tongue stories. Students are encouraged to bring books in their mother tongues from home, but the library also has a selection of home language books that can be checked out. We look forward to a great morning of sharing our home languages. Happy reading!
