An Invitation to Join Us: Student Voice
Have you ever felt it was difficult to have your voice heard? Or have you had a time when you felt it was difficult to speak up for your rights? An important aspect of creating a vibrant learning community is enabling students with the tools and structures to have their voice be heard when it comes to ensuring they are achieving the learning outcomes they desire. Join us for an in depth discussion being hosted at IST Secondary on Tuesday, October 10th from 4 to 6pm. We will bring together thought leaders from around Tanzania as well as from within the IST Community to learn from each other about how to overcome issues of trust, inclusion, dialogue, power and participation in enabling students to have their voices heard. Seats are limited and advance registration is required, but attendance is free. To register, complete the form online through the link. We hope to see you there! Also, read the full article to see the views from IST students Eli Dearden and Zizun Zhou on the importance of student voice. Don't miss this!
