Category 2 Identification Card (Cat 2)
What is a Category 2 ID Card
Category 2 IDs are used to identify; nannies, drivers, and other helpers, or family relatives who have been authorized to pick up and or drop off students at the school.
These IDs are issued directly to the parent within 7 working days, upon completion of the form linked below.
Each parent is allowed to have up to 3 IDs active at the same time. Once you reach the limit, you won't be able to request more unless you return one or more of the IDs already issued to you.
If the ID is lost or destroyed, please let us know by emailing email@example.com.
- Have pictures ready. Pictures should be in .jpg or .png format, and should not be more than 10 MB in size, each. The easiest way to ensure this would be to snap the photo with your smartphone. Make sure the background is clear and uniform (a single color background), avoid shooting outdoors or in front of windows or ornaments.
- Click the link below. You'll be asked to sign-in. You'll need to use a Google account here (all @istafrica.com accounts are Google accounts). It doesn't have to be the same email you submitted to the school, it just has to be any Gmail account. Once you're inside the form, fill in the email you submitted to the school (we will cross-check to make sure you are actually a parent).
- Fill in the full name and upload a picture of the person you want the id to be issued to. Once you submit the filled form, you'll see an option for submitting more responses. Remember, you can only apply for up to 3 IDs.
- Once you're done, check your email's inbox, you should see response receipts. That's it!! Within 7 working days, we'll let you know when and where to pick up your IDs.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your issue and we'll respond within 1 - 3 working days.
