Operation ‘Mask Up Dar’ Needs Your Help

Just a few days since we started the sew-a-mask-at-home drive, we've already supplied 402 masks, 40 gowns, laundry bags, and more to support local hospitals through COVID19.

The first batch of masks at work.

We are thankful and inspired by this overwhelmingly positive response from the IST community and the public.

We will continue to make medical gear and other supplies (food, gear, e.t.c) to support hospitals through this difficult time.

You can help by:

  • Donating food baskets
  • Donating sheets and towels in good condition
  • Donating kitenge material
  • Sewing masks at home (how-to guide here)

Contributions are dropped off at the Secondary Campus's main gate. Please email Megan or Claire before you drop off or if you want to learn more about supporting these efforts.
