Grade 4

After completing a Bachelors degree in Human Movement and Geography, I obtained my Higher Diploma of Education from Rhodes University in South Africa. I initially taught a combination of physical education, biology and geography at middle and high school level, before moving to an independent school in South Africa where I headed the Geography department for 5 years. I also headed up the regional teachers association for Geographers in Independent Education in South Africa. I enjoy being involved in sporting activities and field trips. My husband and I moved to Tanzania in 2004 which gave me the opportunity to branch into a primary school education by becoming a Grade 4 homeroom teacher at IST.
