Cassie Wangsness

I earned my B.A. in African Languages and Literature at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, and my M.S. in TESOL Education at Lehman College. My first years of teaching were spent in Tengeru, Tanzania and Kitui, Kenya at primary schools for visually impaired and blind children. Prior to coming to Tanzania, I taught ESL in Bronx and Queens Boroughs of New York City. In my free time, I love keeping myself busy with many interests, including running, yoga, writing, coffee, photography, dancing, music, experimental cooking, talking to my sisters, and studying Swahili.
