Jess Tweedie
EAL
Prior to joining IST I was based in Uganda where I was working with the ISU School Board on Board Policy Development. I completed my Bachelor of Education (Hons) at Cambridge University in the UK and have a Masters of Education (with a specialisation in Curriculum Planning) from the University of London. In addition I have had certified training in the teaching of bilingual learners and in the teaching of English literacy with a special focus on teaching approaches to reading and spelling. I am British but was born in Nairobi and have spent a large chunk of my life in Africa including Zambia, Botswana, Sudan,
Malawi and Uganda. I am greatly looking forward to living and working in Tanzania.
