Sue Toms

I grew up on a small farm overlooking the ocean in Queensland, Australia.  I lived in the same house my entire childhood, but my parents always subscribed to National Geographic magazine and I knew I was destined to live in many interesting places for the rest of my life!  I have now travelled to about 30 countries and I love learning about different people, places and animals.

I have a Bachelors of Science (Management Information Systems), a Graduate Diploma of Education and a Masters of Education (Teacher Librarianship).  I have taught in Australia, Sri Lanka, Nepal and China before coming to IST.  My husband, Stephen, will teach Middle School at IST and our daughter and son will attend the Elementary School.

I am really looking forward to being the Elementary Librarian at IST.  Please come by in the new school year and say hello (and meet the library lions!).
