IT Manager

I’ve been in Tanzania since 1998 with my wife Els, son Olivier and daughter Rosita who are both at IST. The first four years I have been working at the Computing Centre of the University of Dar es Salaam. In 2002 I joined IST as the IT manager. Here at IST we have one of the largest computer networks in the country with over 250 computers for the students to use. Our department makes sure all these computers stay healthy and have a good connection to the Internet. I have been in Information Technology since 1982 and certified on both Microsoft Windows systems (MCSE) as well as on Linux systems (RHCE).
