EC Teacher

People are constantly wondering what it’s like to teach at the same school where I spent so many of my childhood years. Working at IST has been something I have thought about doing all of my adult life, and now I am enjoying every part of it. The school has grown significantly in the past twenty years, but then again, so have I.

I spent the last ten years of my life, all of my adulthood, in Vancouver and Toronto. I did my Bachelors of Arts at Simon Fraser University, majoring in Geography. I then completed my second degree in Education at the University of British Columbia. After being encompassed by the cold concrete jungle for so many years, I am enjoying the heat, the beaches, and the visibility of the sky, to the maximum! This year has already started to be a real learning opportunity for me, and I look forward to being part of the EC, and the IST team!
