Accountant

I joined IST in October 1986 as Assistant Accountant cum Cashier. In 1987 I was promoted to the position of Accountant after having been registered by the National Board of Accountants & Auditors (NBAA) as an Approved Accountant.
Among other duties, I am responsible for ensuring prompt and timely remittance of all government statutory payments such as PAYE, Land Rent, Property Tax and Staff Pensions Funds.

I am a Tanzanian and hold a Diploma in Business Administration and National Accountancy Diploma. I am also a Registered Approved Accountant with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA).

I enjoy working at IST being one of the longest serving members of IST staff.
