Personnel & Administrative Officer

I joined the International School of Tanganyika in 1995 as the Senior Personnel Officer responsible for personnel matters. In 1996, following management restructuring, I was appointed as the Personnel & Administrative Officer responsible for both personnel & administration, reporting to the Business Manager (a position currently renamed as GMFA). Among other duties, I attend to all personnel matters, process visas and all immigration matters for over 100 expatriate staffs, clearing & forwarding, security matters, telephones, office machines, management of school service contracts and many other general administrative matters. I hold a BA Degree (International Relations) from the University of Dar es Salaam and am a Board Member of the Association of Tanzania Employers, Member of the Human Resource Forum-Tanzania and an Assessor of the Industrial Court of Tanzania. It is a pleasure to work for the school, a multicultural society.
