Anne McAra

Grade 2

Hi, my name is Anne McAra and I have lived in Tanzania since 1986! I am originally from Scotland and arrived at IST, Upper School, in 1986 where I taught grade 7 to IB Geography and Humanities. In 1992, I returned to Scotland for a year to retrain as an elementary teacher and then came back to IST to teach grade 4. At present I am teaching grade 2, one of the best years in the school, I think! I have two children who attend the elementary school and both love the diversity of culture and the extra curricular activity programme as well as their friends and teachers, here at IST.
