PYP Coordinator

Born and educated in ‘bonnie’ Scotland, I began my teaching career with a BEd (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen in 1998.  It has since taken me from the UK to New Zealand and now Tanzania.  I have worked with students at a variety of age levels and have experienced education from an administrative perspective as PYP Coordinator.  Having worked in two different capacities, I am convinced that it is in the classroom where all the action takes place.  Students are what make a school a school! For this reason, I enjoy giving the teachers the support and encouragement they so deserve on a daily basis to make things happen.  As I move through my time here at IST, I continue to take advantage of this beautiful country with its outstanding culture, landscape and wildlife.  The adventures just keep on coming…
