Counsellor

Born and raised in North Carolina, USA, I’d say my blood runs Carolina Blue.  I will always call North Carolina home; however, traveling the world, seeing new places, and meeting people from all over is my life now.  I consider myself very lucky to be able to live a life full of adventure, meet friends from around the globe, as well as work at such an amazing school as IST.

I hold a Master’s and Education Specialist Degree in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I specialized in School and Community Counseling.  My concentration areas were children and families.  In this concentration, I received training in play therapy, which I consider very useful in the school setting.  I am licensed in the state of North Carolina as a School Counselor for K-12 and am currently a National Certified Counselor in the US.
