Bob was elected to the board in June 2007.  He is the Consul at the Embassy of the United States in Dar es Salaam.  A graduate of Georgetown University, he has served for 19 years in the United States Foreign Service.  He and his family have also lived in Kigali, Rwanda; Paris, France; Mumbai, India; and Moscow, Russia.  He seeks to maintain the excellence of IST for the benefit of the families in the community and to maximize its potential as a recruiting and retention tool for embassies, NGOs and businesses in Tanzania.  He has two children in the Upper School.
