I am originally from the UK. My interest in international teaching came from spending some of my own childhood growing up over-seas in Iraq, Indonesia and Somalia. I returned to the UK for my secondary and further education. I have a BAQTS (HONS) degree from Bath College of Higher Education in England. I am qualified to teach 3 – 11 year olds. I started working in early childhood and have stayed with this age group for most of my career. During my years of teaching I have worked in London, Bangkok and Dar es Salaam. I have been working at IST since 2001.
