Adam Fuller

Adam is the Managing Director of the Southern Sun Hotel, Dar es Salaam (formally Holiday Inn Dar es Salaam) which is part of the Southern Sun group of Hotels.  He is a South African, has lived in East Africa for eleven years and has been in the Hotel business for many more.

Adam is also Chairman of the Tourism Training Project which is a European Union funded program, member of the National College of Tourism Management Advisory board and was recently co-opted onto the Dar es Salaam Tourism Advisory Council.

Adam’s two daughters are currently in Grade 7 and 5 and have been students at IST since 2001.

Since joining the board in 2005 he has held a number of roles on the Board including convenor of the Marketing and Communications committee (formed to review the IST’s communication strategies), Vice Chairman (2006/07) and Treasurer (2007/08).
