Sara Dixon

Student Services Grade 3

I grew up in a suburb of Washington, D.C. in the United States. Experiencing different parts of the world became very important to me at an early age and led to this fantastic teaching job in Tanzania! I studied at the University of Virginia, where I received my B.A. in Spanish and my Masters degree in Special Education. I taught in Charlottesville, Virginia as a resource teacher, working with grades K-5.

This year, in addition to my role as the Grade 3 Student Services teacher, I am also acting as the Community Service Coordinator. I am looking forward to blending my passions in education and service and working closely with students, teachers and parents to serve our school and local communities.
