Emma Davies

Student Services Grade 4

I have been teaching overseas since 2001, and working in education since 1995. After doing my first degree, History B.A. Hons, at Royal Holloway, University of London, I completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Upper Primary with a specialism in English) at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, U.K. I worked as a classroom teacher in Norfolk, U.K. for five years, before moving to Singapore to begin my career as a teacher overseas. At this point I specialised in teaching English as a foreign language, completing two years in Singapore before moving to Bangkok, Thailand where I worked at Bangkok Patana British International School as the ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher for Grade Four. I have been at I.S.T. since 2005 and am thoroughly enjoying working and living in Tanzania.
