EC 1/2
Born and bred in London, UK, although my family are originally from Grenada in the Caribbean, I left London to study at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I obtained a Batchelor of Education with first class honours. I worked as an early childhood teacher in various schools in London for 8 years, during which time I also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary and Early Childhood Education at Roehampton Institute, London. Having spent some time visiting my family in Grenada, I caught the travelling bug, and began applying to work overseas. I worked in Kenya, Venezuela, and Atlanta, USA, before the opportunity arose to return to Africa. During my 18 year career I have worked as a class teacher for students aged 3-8, deputy head teacher, library teacher, advisory teacher and coordinator for early childhood.
