Learning at IST

"[IST aims to] provide differentiated learning experiences for our students, so that all are appropriately supported and challenged."

- IST's Strategic Plan 2013-2016

What People Say

"I don't know when I've ever had so much support, felt so much care for my child, in helping him overcome obstacles. A few specific teachers and faculty members have been instrumental in the personal growth and development of my child. I already know that they will never be forgotten, and will always be appreciated."

- parent of Secondary student, IST Parent Survey (anonymous, March 2015)

"Thanks to a wide range of activities, I was able to pick things that were well-suited to my personality. Things like … Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, band, choir, swimming, international night, community service work - my parents and I were able to pick extracurricular activities that matched my interests, and nurtured different talents."

- Aisha Sykes, Class of 1997

IST Open Day

Next Open Day: April 2016

If you weren't able to attend IST's Open Days for 2015, check back again around March 2016 for details about the events planned for April.

What is an IST Open Day?

Open Days are events specifically for parents and guardians who are considering IST as the school for their child or children and who want to learn more about the IST experience.

What happens during Open Day?

During Open Day, you will get the opportunity to tour the campus, visit classrooms, see students in action and find out what makes IST different. An IST education challenges students academically while helping them also learn about themselves, their potential and the world we live in. If you are considering IST for your child or children, plan to attend.

Do I need to register in advance to attend Open Day?

Yes, you do. Our intent is not to make it difficult for you to visit us, but we do take the safety and security of our campuses very seriously. Online registration for the next Open Day will begin in March 2016.
