On behalf of the students, parents and wider community at the International School of Tanganyika, I am very pleased to welcome you to the XVII ISSEA Championships website. ISSEA is now in its eighth year and although it has developed and strengthened since the first tournament in Harare in 2000, its founding principles remain the same, to provide a platform for some of the best high school sport to be found in Africa and to develop in our athletes a sense of sportsmanship, fair play and a desire to be the best that you can be.
This year, IST is very fortunate to have the support of both the Holiday Inn and South African Airways. This support has done much to improve the experience of both athletes and coaches and we are very grateful for their backing. Please browse this website to view schedules, rosters and the results of the games. Results will be posted twice a day at 1.00pm and in the late afternoon. May I take this opportunity to wish all the teams’ good luck in their games and an enjoyable and memorable stay in Dar es Salaam
