Pictures and Pitch

The end of April was a busy time artistically for the Secondary School at IST. In addition to the IB2 Visual Arts Exhibition earlier in the month, last week saw not one but two musical showcases. On the 28th the 'Pictures and Pitch' concert featured IST's Voice and Musical Crossroads as well as guest artists Ndeji. Two nights later, the (mostly instrumental) music concert featured a great many student and teacher soloists as well as the guest appearance of the band from a local school for the deaf, who performed two rousing military-style marches. Sadly, these were the last public performances at IST by music teachers Jennifer Wakefield and Julia Bryant, who are leaving at the end of this academic year. We thank them for their commitment to excellence in the performing arts at IST and wish them all the best in their future endeavours." Click here for Photos
