IST Class of 2009 University Placement
Receiving an education from IST has once again proven invaluable as evidenced by the acceptances of our graduates of the Class of 2009 into excellent universities throughout the world. Even with the dramatic increase in the number of 16-19 year olds applying to universities, this year’s IST graduating class has proven that they can indeed compete with secondary school students from anywhere in the world. Accordingly, just as the competition for university entry has increased so too has the competition for receiving financial assistance from these universities as well. Fortunately for those in the Class of 2009 who have demonstrated financial need, they have still been able to receive scholarship offers in access of $4 million. These offers have included 20 individual full need scholarships for a four year education at a US university.
Countries in which the graduates of the Class of 2009 have applied to are: The UK, Canada, US, The Netherlands, Australia, South Africa, Belgium, Ireland, India, Finland, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Italy and New Zealand. With most students receiving numerous university admissions, many of them have had a very difficult time in choosing the university that they will attend. Listed below are the universities the Class of 2009 will be attending as was announced at their Graduation Ceremony this past Saturday:
