The IST Biathlon
On Saturday 9th May at 7.30 am 182 competitors turned out to compete in the 2009 IST biathlon. They completed a 250m swim and a 4km run. Everyone who finished received a t shirt, medal and certificate kindly sponsored by KLM. A big thank you to al the competitors and the staff and parents who helped run the event on the day. The winners of the various categories were as follows.

The event manage to raise 300 000 TSH this will be used to help teaching assistants whose houses were damaged in the recent explosions and to buy basketball rings to improve the public basketball courts around Dar.
