Music Overview

Early Childhood music classes are full of movement and activity. Children approach the basic concepts of melody and rhythm through movement and singing games. As with the other grades, folk music forms the core repertoire.

Grades One, Two and Three have a fun-filled program that introduces them to playing classroom instruments, and when in Grade Three the recorder. Children develop creativity in Music as they learn key music concepts and elements.
