FUN SPORTS AND MUSIC DAY

This day of sports and music was hosted by IST Elementary School. Grade 4 and 5 students from IST were joined by children from schools and orphanages in Dar es Salaam for sporting and musical activities. There were 120 children involved in this event and during the day they all enjoyed playing football, basketball, hockey and a taking part in a music session.

It is wonderful to see that you can make instant friends when you have a ball to kick or a song to sing together. By the end of the day we all came together to share some songs and to share an excellent lunch which was provided by the school canteen.

Many school staff came to help. We would like to thank them and everyone who worked so hard to make this day so successful and memorable.
