Biathlon 2006

The 200 or so participants in the annual biathlon were encouraged by a relatively cool and cloudy morning. Leaving at 30 second intervals the swimmers had to cover 250 meters of the pool before jumping out - either to hand over to a team mate - or to continue with a 4 kilometer run that took them onto the sand along the Ocean at Coco beach. The best times are recorded below - but everyone who completed had a certificate - T Shirt and the satisfaction of knowing that they had done their best.
