Grade 5 Indian Dance Performance

For three weeks this term some very dedicated and energetic mothers came into school and devoted many hours of their time to teaching Indian dances to all students in Grade 5. This was part of the Grade 5 Unit of Inquiry ‘I Believe, You Believe’.

The resulting dances were performed at the Elementary School to an audience of parents and students in a special presentation on February 3rd. Everyone who watched these dances was impressed with how well all of the students had mastered these beautiful but complicated movements. None of this would have been possible without the enthusiasm and patience of the ladies who taught the dances. We thank them all.
