M.A.D. (Make-A-Difference)

Make a Difference or M.A.D. as we call it, is an organization that began two years ago and is entirely devoted to sustainable projects. Our goal is to enrich people’s lives by giving them the means, be it financial or educational, to support themselves. Our projects are reasonably short-term as M.A.D. aims at helping a variety of needs, leaving them to continue what we helped begin.

Some of the projects we have done in the past include starting a kanga business for a group of albino women, painting the Cancer Hospital waiting room in order to create a more pleasant environment for the patients, performing skits based on common curable problems facing Tanzanians for the Salvation Army and providing a clinic with basic equipment.

We collaborate with different organizations in Dar es Salaam in order to achieve our goals. M.A.D. is always interested in new projects so if you know of any or need help yourself, we are more then willing to assist you.
