Do you care about animals?

A group of caring people started the organization “Dar Animal Haven”. They believe that the situation of all animals in Tanzania really needs help. In a country where technology is lacking in many areas and poverty is common, almost no attention is paid to the plight of the animals.

At IST, we aim to support Dar Animal Haven in its endeavours through fundraising and awareness raising activities.

You don’t have to give money to help us, although it is always greatly appreciated.

Please do not buy those parrots, bush babies, monkeys and puppies you see on the street. If you buy one, the salesman will go to get more and we’ll never solve the problem of homeless animals on the street. Have you ever thought about what happens to the animals which are not bought?

Some animals in Dar -es –Salaam are homeless and very hungry because their owners abandon them after having to move to another country.
