Choosing activities in the Elementary School

The after school activities programme at the Elementary School is as diverse as our student population. Offerings as varied as Choir, Guitar, Art and Craft and Gymnastics, give the children a chance to participate in activities that otherwise might not be possible. The programme is currently offering over fifty different Clubs in five categories;
Community Service, Recreation, Arts/Music, Sports and Languages.
All students are encouraged to choose UP TO THREE activities with no more than two coming from one of the above categories.

After school activities vary by grade level. Information outlining each of the available choices is posted on this website at the beginning of each activities term and parents are encouraged to spend time with their children choosing the most appropriate activities and planning out the children's week. Activities being offered reflect the interests, skills and expertise of the school community, from which activity leaders are sourced, and may change each semester.

In addition, parents and students are asked to read through the accompanying document, Elementary Activities Programme Notes, which gives more detailed information and expectations concerning the programme. It is the responsibility of all I.S.T. families to read and understand the contents of this document.

Two other pages deal with selection of students for activities where numbers are limited:
Activity Guidelines for Parents and Guidelines for Students.
